1. The Moon Is a Cookie

As it slid across the sink
wobbling
a pale ear's strange blue windows
intervals of the sky
Halloween earring
jets fly through.

2. Anna's Eye Is Wild

The place on the roof where
the dinosaurs sleep
is there, taking the rain on the tooth
and the green tomato of this earth
bursts and is dry
its big green eye with spikes
shadows, little orange trucks.

3. I Want My Monster Back

Our dancing, bony white guy
he will carry a bucket
of candy and rocks
to where the bat lady rises.

A set of black whip
wings
with which to flicker
through this world.
