IN THE SHADOW OF THE CORNER
1. On Church Street, at the ATT
monolith, that the Polish intellectuals
once mistook for a political detention
center, I finally saw the missing
Towers. Weeks after i stopped looking
for them, i stepped around the corner &
was caught full on in the sun's glare.
2. Pale Blue Sky -- Bright Sun
3. Eyes cast down in reflex now upon reflextion
as if in reverence. The imprecition of any action,
& the description of that action as imprecise as
language allows. Where once their brooding
prescience beat you down, their persistent lack.
In place of polished steel filigree & dark smoky
glass
